Kasthuri promised Abhiram that she will not reveal the truth to anybody and would survive as a servant at his house for the remaining years.
The villagers send Kasthuri with Abhiram to the City home. Even though he married kasthuri, was unable to accept the truth. He had no other option to save his life from the illiterate tribal villagers with weapons. Next morning the villagers with their leader (Mooppan) caught them found in sleeping in a hut which incident leads to a forceful marriage of Kasthuri with Abhiram by the tribal community. During his stay at poompara ,one night Kasthuri and Abhiram stuck in a hut inside the forest due to unexpected heavy rain and storm. During this time kasthuri tells Abhiram of her dream of going for higher studies.
